Ankur has received a Theatre Agility Award and a Strand 1 Award from Arts Council, Ireland. These are to look into forming a Theatre Company in Dublin with diversity at its core and to complete writing his play Beef with guidance from Rough Magic.
Ankur has funding from Screen Ireland and Bow Street Academy under the Actor as Creator scheme. He has written the script for a short film and will be acting in it. The film which is currently in pre production.
